The Scaffold for Learning provides all students with rich opportunities to learn. It involves a mapping out of the following:
- benchmark lessons - whole class lessons on concepts
- mini-lessons - small-group, skills-based lessons
- how-to sheets - printed direct instruction in a skill area
- technology - applications that might enhance the learning process
- peer tutoring - identifying peer experts to help one another (responsibility should rotate so that the same student is not helping everyone)
- textbook / workbook assignments
