This is a WebQuest for elementary classes. Students are asked to travel back in time to research Washington and Lincoln. During their research, students are asked to answer fact based questions and then are asked open ended questions based on the information gathered on their journey.
Presidential Web Hunt
Students are asked to use the Web site: www.whitehouse.gov to research a president of their choice and answer specific questions online. Students can then print off their research to be handed in to the teacher.
Evaluating the Presidents
This Web based activity asks high school students to research which four presidents should be on the "new" Mr. Rushmore. Criteria is developed by the students on what makes a good president and then the students set out to find the next four presidents to be honored and they must defend their choices.
